What is International Childhood Cancer Day?

International Childhood Cancer Day (ICCD) is a global awareness day observed on February 15th each year. The day is dedicated to raising awareness about childhood cancer and advocating for improved diagnosis, treatment, and support for children and adolescents with cancer, as well as survivors and their families.

The overarching goal of International Childhood Cancer Day is to ensure that every child with cancer has access to the best possible treatment, care, and support, regardless of where they live in the world. It serves as a reminder of the urgent need to prioritize childhood cancer as a global health priority and work towards reducing the burden of this disease on children and their families.
